Updates​

  • NDIP

three new projects coming next year, at least one will need Summit/Frontier

  • Summit

most probably will be extended for a year, with support, etc. Ratio external/internal projects might change, with more internal moving to Frontier. Alpine filesystem goes away - switch to Orion.

  • Frontier via Slate

Still working on access to the filesystem (Orion). Still crashes, but less often. After that - will work at job submittions. Got a new engineer which needs some time to learn stuff.

  • Facility API

Work in progress, first want to open a status endpoint. Still thinking how to implement authnz. Want to take into account our use case with automatic workflows without user interactions.

  • CADES/Edge

working on both ends - installing SLURM on edge and k8s clusters to submit jobs (use opencluster manager and ArgoCD)
